Leading goldsmith killed in Srinagar
Rifle grand attack on forces bunker at Sangam Bajbhara, officer injured. Meanwhile, a grenade was hurled at a CRPF bunker at Sangam Bajbhara in which a force officer was injured in a powerful blast. He was seriously injured and fell inside the shop. He was rushed to the President's Hospital but doctors declared him dead. The incident took place at around 6 am. Immediately after the incident, the entire area was cordoned off to arrest the attackers and senior police and force officials rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation. After the attack, shops in the adjoining areas were closed and all traffic was suspended. Forces and police set up roadblocks at several places and searched passers-by and vehicles. Naschal Jewelers is a well known shop on Hari Singh High Street. The slain owner of Sanchal Jewelers is one of the few non-Muslim traders who did not migrate from Kashmir Valley in 1990, when almost all non-Muslims migrated from the valley. They were highly respected in the area and There was a very old shop on the street, which had been trading here for decades. At around 6:20 pm, about the same time when Sarai Balamin Dakandar was attacked, militants fired a rifle at the 89th Battalion CRPF bunker near the Sangam Bajbhara Bridge. A grenade exploded near the bunker, seriously injuring Assistant Sub-Inspector Hardial Yadav. Immediately after the attack, the area was cordoned off and searched. However, no arrests have been made.

سنگم بجبہاڑہ میں فورسز بنکر پر رائفل گرینڈ حملہ، افسر زخمیشیاںلیں۔ ادھر سنگم بجبہاڑہ میں سی آر پی ایف کے بنکر پر گرینیڈ پھینکا گیا جس کے زوردار دھماکے سے ایک فورسز افسر زخمی ہوا۔سرائے بالا مارکیٹ متصل آستان عالیہ کے قریب مسلح افراد نے ایک غیر مسلم سنار نسچل جیولرس کے مالک ستہ پال نسچل شرما پر گولیاں ماریں جس سے وہ شدید زخمی ہوکرخون میں لت پت ہوکر دکان کے اندر ہی گر پڑا۔اسے فوری طور پر صدر اسپتال پہنچایا گیا لیکن ڈاکٹروں نے انہیں مردہ قرار دیا۔ یہ واقعہ قریب 6بجے پیش آیا۔واقعہ کے فوراً بعد حملہ آوروں کی گرفتاری کے لئے پورے علاقے کو گھیرے میں لیا گیا اور پولیس و فورسز کے اعلیٰ افسران جائے واردات پر پہنچ گئے اور انہوں نے صورتحال کا جائزہ لیا۔ حملے کے بعد ملحقہ علاقوں کی دکانیں بند ہوگئیں اور ہر طرح کی آمد و رفت بھی معطل ہو کر رہ گئی۔فورسز و پولیس نے کئی جگہوں پر ناکے لگائے اور راہ گیروں اور گاڑیوں کی تلاشی لی۔ نسچل جیولرس ہری سنگھ ہائی سٹریٹ کی معروف دکان ہے۔ سنچل جیولرس کے مہلوک مالک ان بہت کم غیر مسلم تاجروں میں شامل ہیں جنہوں نے 1990میں وادی کشمیر سے ہجرت نہیں کی، جب تقریباً سبھی غیر مسلم وادی سے ہجرت کر گئے تھے۔انہیں علاقے میں انتہائی عزت سے دیکھا جاتا تھا اور وہ ہری سنگھ ہائی سٹریٹ میں بہت ہی قدیم دکان تھی، جو کئی دہائیوں سے یہاں تجارت کرتے تھے۔ادھر شام کے 6بجکر 20منٹ پر تقریباً اسی وقت جب سرائے بالامین دکاندرار پر حملہ ہوا، سنگم بجبہاڑہ پل کے قریب 89بٹالین سی آر پی ایف بنکر پر جنگجوئوں نے ایک رائفل گرینیڈ داغا، جو بنکر کے قریب زوردار دھماکے سے پھٹ گیا جس کے نتیجے میں اسسٹنٹ سب انسپکٹر ہردیال یادو شدید طور پر زخمی ہوئے۔حملے کے فوراً بعد علاقے کو گھیرے میں لیا گیا اور تلاشیاں لی گئیں۔ تاہم کسی کی گرفتاری عمل میں نہیں لائی گئی۔
