The process of providing vaccines will start all over the country simultaneously and in the first phase 10 million health workers were brought under the scope of vaccination.  The process of providing vaccine will be decided in 5 phases and under the first phase of this process in Jammu and Kashmir, 160,000 health workers will be provided vaccines.  It is learned that the process of giving corona vaccine has been started from the second week of January.  The process will be completed in four different phases as the vaccine company cannot provide vaccines to the entire population at once, ”he said. He said that in the first phase, 160,000 health workers in Jammu and Kashmir would be vaccinated and the process would take three days.  It will be completed inside  The work has been completed and they are ready to vaccinate health workers in the first phase.  He further said that training of 10,000 more health workers including BUMS, dental surgeons, nursing students and others is underway. Health department officials said that during the second phase in Jammu and Kashmir, the municipality  The vaccine will be provided to 300,000 front-line workers, employees of the army, police and other agencies working in the country, ”he said, adding that in the third phase, people over the age of 50 and those under the age of 50 would be vaccinated.  Officials said that in the fourth phase of vaccination, the general public will be vaccinated, and 25,000 health workers will be needed to complete the vaccination process.  "The training of 15,000 health workers required for the third phase is underway," he said, adding that 10,000 more staff would be needed to vaccinate the general public, but that would be the fourth phase and their training work  Dr. Qazi Haroon, Immunization Officer, Jammu and Kashmir Immunization Department, who is in charge of monitoring the supply of Corona vaccine and its overall status, told Kashmir Azma that 1083 vaccination centers have been set up out of which 500 are in Kashmir and 583 in Jammu.  I will  "Hopefully, the vaccine will reach Jammu and Kashmir within the next 10 days," Dr Haroon said, adding that all medical workers would be re-vaccinated 28 days after the first vaccination.  He said that 300,000 vaccines for the first phase are likely to arrive within the next ten days.  Dr. Haroon further said that the management of 680 cold storage units is already in place while orders have been issued for setting up of another 500 cold storage units. Dr. Qazi Haroon said that at present there are 2000 cold boxes and 12,000 ICs in Jammu and Kashmir.  LRs are available and each ILR can hold 28,000 vaccines.
