Lavapura clash: Claims of families of victims to be investigated: Dilbagh Singh
Srinagar // Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief Dilbagh Singh on Thursday said, "Although I have no reason to disagree with the statement of a senior army officer about the Lavepura clash, the claims of the families of the victims are still being investigated." Will go

He made the remarks while addressing a press conference in Jammu.
According to police, three militants were killed in a clash between forces and militants near Sar on the outskirts of Srinagar yesterday. The militants belonged to Pulwama and Shopian districts of south Kashmir.
After the killings, the families of the slain youths came to Srinagar and claimed about their children that they were not militants but civilians.
The police chief was commenting on the same claim of the victims.
DGP Dilbagh Singh said, "It is not necessary that Harjangjo's name be included in the police list. The youths run away from home, then their parents report to the police, then it is found out that he has joined the ranks of the militants and then his name is listed in the police list.
"After the Srinagar clash yesterday, we also heard a statement from the army in which they mentioned how the operation was carried out. As far as I am concerned, the encounter was carried out properly," he said. We will still investigate the allegations made by the parents of the slain fighters. If anything comes up, action will be taken. ”

ان ہلاکتوں کے بعد مہلوک نوجوانوں کے گھروالوں نے سرینگر آکر اپنے بچوں کے بارے میں دعویٰ کیا کہ وہ جنگجو نہیں بلکہ عام شہری تھے۔
پولیس سربراہ مہلوکین کے اسی دعویٰ کے بارے میں اظہار خیال کررہے تھے۔
ڈی جی پی دلباغ سنگھ نے کہا ” یہ ضروری نہیں ہے کہ ہرجنگجو کا نام پولیس کی فہرست میں شامل ہو۔ نوجوان گھر سے بھاگتے ہیں، پھر ان کے والدین پولیس میں رپورٹ کرتے ہیں، پھر معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ وہ عسکریت پسندوں کے صف میں شامل ہوا ہے اور پھر پولیس کی فہرست میں اس کا نام درج کیا جاتا ہے“۔
انہوں نے کہا” گزشتہ روز سرینگر تصادم کے بعد ہم نے فوج کا بیان بھی سنا جس میں انہوں نے ذکر کیا کہ کس طرح یہ آپریشن انجام دیا گیا۔جہاں تک مجھے لگتا ہے، یہ انکاونٹر صحیح طریقے سے انجام دیا گیا ہے۔ ہم پھر بھی ہلاک شدہ جنگجوﺅں کے والدین کی جانب سے لگائے گئے الزامات کی تفتیش کریں گے۔ اگر کچھ سامنے آتا ہے تو کارروائی کی جائے گی“۔
