سکمز میڈیکل کالج بمنہ کے انڈر گریجویٹ اور پوسٹ گریجویٹ طلبانے کلیینکلل کلاسوں کو بند کرنے کیخلاف تیسرے روز بھی زبردست احتجاج کیا اور کالج انتظامیہ کے خلاف نعرہ بازی کی۔ سنچر کے روز میڈیکل کالج بیمنہ میں ایم بی بی ایس اور پوسٹ گریجویٹ طلبا نے پریس کالونی میںاحتجاج کیا ۔ احتجاج میں شامل طلبہ نے بتایا کہ کلینکل کلاسز کو روکنے کے معاملے پر کالج انتظامیہ کے خلاف احتجاج کرنے پر مجبور ہیں کیونکہ انتظامیہ دوبارہ کلینکل بحال کرنے میں کوئی دلچسپی نہیں دیکھا رہی ہے۔احتجاج کرنے والے طلباء نے بتایا حکام نے کوویڈ 19 مریضوں کو کالج میں رکھا ہے ا ور کلینیکل کلاسز 9 مہینوں سے بند پڑے ہوئے ہیں جسکی وجہ سے انکی تعلیمی متاثر ہورہی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا’’ نہ تو اوپی ڈی چل رہا ہے اور نہ ہی آئی پی ڈی میں مریضوں کو داخل کیا جا رہا ہے، ایسی صورتحال میں یہ کیسے ممکن ہے کہ ہم اچھے ڈاکٹربن جائیں‘‘۔ انہوں نے الزام لگایا کہ کالج حکام نے او پی ڈی کی سہولت کو طویل عرصے سے بند کردیا ہے اور جب بھی کوئی میڈیا شخص انتظامیہ سے اس بارے میں پوچھتا ہے تو کالج انتظامیہ جھوٹ کا سہارا لے کر اس معاملے کو ٹال رہا ہے۔ ایک طالب علم نے کہا کہ میں سرجری ڈیپاڑمنٹ میں تعینات ہوں، دور دراز دیہات سے مریض یہاں آتے ہیں لیکن مایوس ہوکر واپس لوٹ جاتے ہیں کیونکہ حکام نے آن لائن رجسٹریشن کا نظام کا مزاق بنا کر رکھا ہے۔ ایک اور پی جی طالب علم نے بتایا کہ جب جی ایم سی بارہمولہ ، راجوری اور دیگر مقام پر معمول کے مطابق میڈیکل کالج کام کر رہے ہیں تو SKIMS میڈیکل کالج میں کام کاج کو دوبارہ شروع کرنے میں کیا دشواریاں ہیں؟۔طلبہ نے مزید بتایا کہ طلبا ء نے کالج حکام کے خلاف زور دار نعرے بازی کرتے ہوئے فوری طور پر کلینیکل کلاسوں کو دوبارہ شروع کرنے کا مطالبہ کیا جبکہ انہوں نے اسپتال کی کوویڈ 19 سے پہلے والی پوزیشن بحال کرنیکا بھی حکام سے اپیل کی ۔ طلباء کا کہنا تھا کہ اس طرح کی صورتحال سے انکی تعلیم تشویشناک حد تک متاثر ہورہی ہے۔ طلبا ء نے الزام لگایا کہ انہوں نے متعدد بار اس تشویشناک صورتحال کے بارے میں کالج انتظامیہ اور دیگر منسلک عہداروں کو آگاہی فراہم کی لیکن ہر بار انہوں نے جھوٹی یقین دہانی کرتے ہوئے اس معاملے کو نظر انداز کیا۔ طلباء نے بتایا کہ انکا مستقبل داھاو پر لگا دیا۔ پرنسپل سکمز پروفیسر ریاض احمد اویتو نے کہا ’’ تمام کلاسز معمول کے مطابق منعقد کئے جارہے ہیں جبکہ پانچ بیچوں میں سے تین بیچے چھٹیوں پر ہیں۔پرنسپل نے ان الزامات کی تردید کرتے ہوئے کہا ’’’’ ایک لیبارٹریاں کام نہیں کررہی ہے‘‘۔ انہوں نے کہا’’ فائنل ائیر کے طلبا گڑ بڑ پیدا کرنے کی کوشش کررہے ہیں ہم ان تمام معاملات کا جائزہ لے رہے ہیں‘‘۔انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر کوئی فیکلٹی ممبر کلاس نہیں لے رہا ہے تو ، طلباء کو اس بارے میں دفتر آکر رپورٹ کرنی چاہئے‘‘
