Petroleum and oil marketing companies have reduced the price of commercial LPG
cylinders by Rs 91.50 per unit with immediate effect from Saturday. A 19kg
commercial LPG cylinder will now cost Rs 2,028 in the national capital. However,
sources said that there has been no change in domestic LPG cylinder prices. The
Petroleum and Oil Marketing Companies had hiked the prices of commercial LPG
cylinders by Rs 350.50 per unit and domestic LPG cylinder prices by Rs 50 per
unit on March 1 this year. Earlier, on January 1, the prices of commercial
cylinders were increased by Rs 25 per unit. Commercial cylinder prices were last
cut by Rs 91.50 on September 1 last year. On August 1, 2022, commercial LPG
cylinder prices were also reduced by Rs 36, earlier on July 6, 19 kg commercial
cylinder prices were reduced by Rs 8.5 per unit.
