Police arrest militant aide in Baramulla and claim to have recovered three Chinese-made grenades

Police sources said they received a report that some militants or militant helpers were on their way to Handwara from Baramulla with illegal weapons.
He said that in view of this information, a joint team of Baramulla Police SOG, Army and CRPF's 53rd Battalion set up roadblocks at all the points entering Baramulla town during which a militant aide Was arrested.
Police identified the detainee as Asif Gul, who was arrested on December 29 and has been interrogated ever since. Asif has been on police radar for the past eight months and was hit by a grenade in August last year. He was also involved in the blast.
According to police, three special and unique grenades made by Asif have been recovered.

پولیس نے شمالی کشمیر کے ضلع بارہمولہ میں جہلم اسٹیڈیم کے نزدیک ایک ناکہ کے دوران ایک جنگجو اعانت کار کو گرفتار کرنے کا دعویٰ کیا ہے۔پولیس نے یہ بھی دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ گرفتار شدہ سے چینی ساخت کے خاص اور منفرد تین گرینیڈ بر آمد کئے گئے ہیں۔
پولیس ذرائع نے بتایا کہ انہیں ایک اطلاع موصول ہوئی کہ کچھ جنگجو یا جنگجو اعانت کار غیر قانونی ہتھیار سمیت بارہمولہ سے ہندوارہ کی طرف جا رہے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اس اطلاع کے پیش نظر بارہمولہ پولیس کی ایس او جی، فوج اور سی آر پی ایف کی 53 بٹالین سے وابستہ ایک مشترکہ ٹیم نے قصبہ بارہمولہ میں داخل ہونے والے تمام پوائیٹس پر ناکے لگا دئے جس کے دوران ایک جنگجو اعانت کار کو گرفتار کیا گیا۔
پولیس نے گرفتار شدہ کی شناخت آصف گل کے طور کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اُسے29دسمبر کو حراست میں لیا گیا اور تب سے اُس کی پوچھ تاچھ کی جارہی تھی۔آصف گذشتہ آٹھ ماہ سے پولیس کے راڈار پر تھا اور وہ گذشتہ سال ماہ اگست میں ایک گرینیڈ دھماکہ کرنے میں بھی ملوث تھا۔
پولیس کے مطابق آصف تین چینی ساخت کے خاص اور منفرد گرینیڈ بر آمد کئے گئے ہیں۔
